       still sunny and 63 degrees.
       of eyelash on eyelash

       and of
       how we said
       that we couldn't live without
       each other.

       This is a story about
       indecisive California weather
       or Climate Change.
       of frozen fingertips
3     intertwined,
       and of
       how we sometimes
       fall apart, but always fall back
       together again.

       This is a story about
       earthquakes halfway
       around the world.
       of love notes via cell
4     phones,
       and of
       how you sometimes
       make me feel like you only
       see me.

       This is a story about
       a butterfly causing
       a hurricane.
       of first kisses
5     redone,
       and of
       how I tend
       to get jealous of girls who are jealous
       of me.

       This is a story about
       the importance of it being
       a certain season disappearing.
       of hazel eyes and
6     blue,
       and of
       how my favourite
       number is seven and the stanzas in this poem
       and forever.

       This is a story about
